About Russell Wheeler, BA, LL.B
Russell has been a lawyer (i.e. a solicitor) for over 30 years, and has a wealth of experience in different areas of business law, including:
- Starting a business – how to minimise problems and maximise results;
- Business structure – company, trust, joint venture or partnership?
- Contract law – lots of experience in negotiating and drafting contracts;
- Buying and selling businesses – including a company or share sale agreement;

- Breach of contract – e.g. conflict resolution and litigation
Russell’s legal expertise is supplemented by the experience gained from his corporate advisory work during the 1980’s, his direct experience in business and his expertise in negotiation. In fact, from 1988 to 1996 he specialised almost exclusively in work involving commercial and legal negotiation, and delivered courses throughout Australia on negotiation skills.
Russell is often retained to assist with the strategy and tactics required for specific negotiations because of the unique combination of his business, negotiation and legal expertise and experience.
